Solar Pool Heating Makes Good Green Sense
Swimming pool solar heating systems come in a variety of shapes and designs, from very basic do-it-yourself creations with black PVC pipes to highly sophisticated systems using the latest in solar panel installations.
The driving force behind whichever solar pool heat you choose to go with is a desire to swim for as much of the year as possible. The best case scenario is to be able to swim all-year round, although for some of us just being able to extend the swimming season by a couple of months is a real boon. And to do this in an environmentally friendly way that reduces not only the home's carbon footprint but also its energy bills makes good green and economic sense.
While exorbitant mainstream energy prices may cause many homeowners to leave their pools unheated for long periods. With a solar heating system you can heat your pool to warm temperatures for much of the year.
He reports that: "Last year I installed a solar pool heater that I made myself. I just T'd the 2 inch pipe coming out from the pump and the T side was 1 inch. Thus the T slips off some of the circulating water and runs it through a set of half inch black tubing. There are two headers at each end and then the water comes out onto the slide and back into the pool."

Solar Pool Heating: What's it All About?
Are you interested in solar pool heating?
How about swimming all year round,is that something you'd love to do?
For many people, me included, the temperature of the pool water is just
too low during the colder months of the year for this to be even a vague
option. I happen to love swimming but really can't tolerate cold water.
My lips go blue and I shiver and shake like a miserable wretch!
I've discovered a way around my predicament. A way to heat the water in
my pool that is affordable and environmentally friendly (so no guilty
feelings on that score!).
What is this way you may want to know?
It is a solar powered pool heating system. Solar pool heat is generated
using the sun as an energy source. It is a wonderful source of renewable
green and clean energy and it does the job well. You can either go for a manufactured solar heating system or you can strap on your tool belt and
build it yourself.
Whichever option you choose, you will find that once you have the solar pool heating system up and running, it is easy to maintain and manage.
As a final boon, you can add an automatic thermostat to the system. The thermostat turns the system off when the desired water temperature has been reached. Of course, it restarts the process again once the water cools down again ensuring that your water stays warm.
Take the plunge (pardon the pun!) and invest in your swimming fun and enjoyment with a solar pool heat system.
